One of the more hair-raising side-effects of the They Might Be Playing They Might Be Giants phenomenon was John Flansburgh saying “Hey, I like your ‘This is TMBG Country’ graphics; may we sell it as official TMBG swag?” It was not a difficult decision to make; the band is awesome, and they clearly have exquisite taste. Anyway, a few years and a mega-sale later, these tees completely sold out… never to be seen again. (If you own one, you’re in an exclusive club for Stylish Kids Only!)
