COLOR IT! Digitally or by hand with any media (it’s sized to fit 8.5”x11” paper). The contest is open to adults, kids, professionals, amateurs… everybody!
SHARE IT! Post your digital art (or a good photo of your analog art) to all of your Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Fediverse, Tumblr, and Bluesky accounts with the TAG @TMBGdotLOVE and HASHTAG #ColorMeTMBG to help us track it down!
DEADLINE
The final deadline for submissions Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 6pm Central (12 hours before the marathon starts). Voting will be open during the duration of the Nov. 13 marathon, and winners will be announced the following day. Please only one entry per person.
PRIZES
Winners will receive fabulous TMBPTMBG prizes!
Weekly drawings! We’ll randomly pick one entry EACH WEEK through Nov. 12, 2026 for a bonus prize! So it pays not to wait until the last minute!
Voters! We’ll randomly pick at least 1 person from everyone who votes during the marathon to get a prize. Promote your entry and get out the vote!
Fan & DJ favorites! The top vote-getters from fans (in both digital & analog categories) as well as “DJ favorite” entries will also win prizes.
ARTIST CREDIT
This year’s coloring contest design was created by a very special guest star: the incredibly talented illustrator Jane McDonald, a/k/a @ghosttart! Jane is a long-time They Might Be Playing They Might Be Giants listener and frequent #ColorMeTMBG contest entrant. She also happens to be a big TMBG fan and supporter of independent public radio. Thanks to Jane for using her great powers responsibly!
