It’s KMSU’s 13th annual They Might Be Playing They Might Be Giants!

Will #TMBPTMBG13 be a lucky marathon of TMBG on the radio by global request, or unlucky? Will it span an unholy 13 hours, or a mere 12? Only time will tell, as not even Mancamp the Hamster can know what the future holds in store for us all. There are but two things of which we can speak with absolute certainty.

1) Unless you truly wish to tempt fate, it’s in your best interest to tune into KMSU 89.7 FM — broadcasting from Mankato, Minnesota, USA, and streaming worldwide at KMSU.org — on Nov. 13, 2026, from 6am-6pm Central.

and 2) This year’s graphics are the wonderfully spooky creation of Jane McDonald, a delightful Portland, Ore., artist whose work can be found at @ghosttart and ghosttartstickers.etsy.com. Jane is a long-time TMBPTMBG listener and coloring contest participant, and we’re thrilled that she’s designing this year’s contest artwork along with some fantastic illustrations that will be available for sale in the TMBG.LOVE store in the coming months!
